If you run a US business and you are looking for a software development company in India, the questions are practical ones. Who owns the code? When can I actually talk to the people building it? What does it cost compared with hiring in the US, and what happens to my customers' data? This page answers those questions plainly, and links to a page for each service we offer to US buyers.

We are DipanshuTech Solutions Pvt. Ltd., based in Greater Noida, India. We have been building software for more than 10 years, have delivered 963+ projects across 20+ industries, and work with clients in 15+ countries. We have 63+ developers. We do not have a US office, and we are not going to pretend otherwise: you would be working with an offshore team over video calls and a shared project board.

Why US companies hire a development partner in India

The usual reasons are cost and capacity. A US-based senior engineer is expensive and slow to hire, and a project that needs five people for six months is awkward to staff permanently. A partner gives you a full team (designers, backend and mobile developers, QA) for the length of the project, and lets you scale it down afterwards.

The less obvious reason is that offshore teams are good at well-defined, sustained build work: an internal operations system, a customer portal, a mobile app for field staff, an integration between systems you already run. Where offshore struggles is vague scope, slow decisions on your side, and products that need the developer in the room with your customers. We would rather tell you that now. If your project is mostly discovery and design thinking with users on site, a local product studio may serve you better for that phase, and we can take over the build afterwards.

What we build for US businesses

Every service below has its own page written for US buyers, covering the laws, integrations and contract terms that matter in the United States.

  • Custom software development: internal tools, customer portals, workflow systems and APIs built around how your business actually runs.
  • ERP development: inventory, purchasing, production, finance and reporting, with sales tax handling and links to QuickBooks Online or NetSuite.
  • CRM development: lead capture, pipelines, quoting and follow-ups, or a custom layer on top of Salesforce or HubSpot.
  • Mobile app development: iOS and Android apps, usually from one Flutter codebase, for customers or field staff.
  • Website development: marketing sites, web apps and online stores, built to be accessible and fast.
  • AI development and automation: document processing, chatbots, sales agents and back-office automation.

Our wider service list is on the services page. Most of our finished products were built for the Indian market, so we have not published case studies of US deployments. What you can inspect are real products, described honestly on our case studies page: a multi-industry ERP, several CRMs, a pathology lab system, a grocery delivery platform and a Shopify marketplace app.

How working across time zones really works

India is on UTC+5:30 all year, with no daylight saving. That puts Greater Noida 9 hours 30 minutes ahead of US Eastern time while daylight time lasts (until November 1, 2026), then 10 hours 30 minutes ahead on Eastern standard time. Pacific time is 13 hours 30 minutes behind India.

In practice, that gives you a window of roughly one to three hours. Your morning is our early evening: 8:00 a.m. Eastern is about 6:30 p.m. in Greater Noida once clocks go back. On the West Coast the live overlap is thinner, and most of the collaboration is asynchronous. We do not claim a full working day in common, because it would not be true.

What makes this workable is a routine:

  • A short call in your morning for decisions, questions and demos.
  • Written updates on a shared project board, so you can see progress without a meeting.
  • Work continues in India while you are asleep, so you often start the day with new questions answered or a feature ready to review.
  • Working software on a staging server every two weeks, so feedback happens against something real.

Slow answers on your side hurt offshore projects more than distance does. Decide who on your team can unblock us within a day, and the time difference stops mattering much.

Data protection and compliance for US projects

There is no single US privacy law. California's CCPA (as amended by the CPRA) gives consumers rights to know, delete, correct and opt out of the sale or sharing of their data, and covers for-profit businesses above certain thresholds, which the California Attorney General sets out. Around 20 states now have comprehensive privacy laws, according to the IAPP state tracker, including Virginia, Colorado, Connecticut and Utah, and Indiana, Kentucky and Rhode Island, which took effect on January 1, 2026. Health data brings HIPAA, card data brings PCI DSS, and consumer-facing promises are policed by the Federal Trade Commission.

We build to the requirements your lawyers give us. We do not hold a SOC 2 report or any other certification, and we say so up front. What we do instead is concrete: role-based access control, audit logs on sensitive actions, encrypted backups, secrets kept out of code, least-privilege access for our developers, an NDA on request, and your source code and cloud accounts held in your name so you can revoke our access at any time. If an enterprise customer requires a SOC 2 report from your vendors, tell us early so we can discuss whether we are the right fit for that part of the work.

Contracts, ownership and payment

The points to settle in writing before work starts are IP assignment (the code you pay for is yours), confidentiality, governing law and where disputes are heard, and what happens if either side ends the engagement. Have your own counsel review the agreement; we are not your lawyers. Paying an Indian vendor in US dollars by bank transfer is common practice, and we will confirm the payment details in the contract rather than leave them to email.

We give a written scope and a fixed quote after a discovery conversation. We do not publish dollar prices, because a CRM for ten users and a multi-warehouse ERP are not the same job.

How to start

Send us a short description of what you want to build, who will use it, and what it must connect to. We will reply with questions, then a written scope and quote. If you are comparing vendors, our about page shows who we are, and the ERP and CRM pages show how we handle the two most common requests. When you are ready, contact us.

FAQs

Questions USA buyers ask

No. DipanshuTech works from Greater Noida, India. US projects are run over video calls and a shared project board, with a short live overlap in your morning and written updates for the rest of the day.

Expect one to three hours with US Eastern time (your morning is our early evening) and less on the Pacific coast, where most communication is asynchronous. We agree a fixed call time during discovery and use written handovers between calls.

You do. Source code lives in a repository in your name and cloud accounts are opened under your company, so you can revoke our access whenever you choose. IP assignment is written into the contract, and an NDA is available on request.

No. We do not hold a SOC 2 report, and HIPAA has no certification for developers. We use access control, audit logs and encrypted backups, and we can discuss a business associate agreement during discovery if your project involves health data.

After discovery we send a written scope and a fixed quote for defined projects. Ongoing work can run as a monthly dedicated team or a support retainer. We do not publish dollar prices because scope varies too much from project to project.

We have not published US case studies. Our case studies are real products built mostly for the Indian market, and you can inspect them live. We are happy to walk through how they were built so you can judge the quality of the work.
