Launch a New ProductFrom Idea to First User
A product launch engagement for founders and product leaders who need to ship a working product to real users in weeks — discovery, scope, build, launch and the post-launch review, all on a fixed scope and a written estimate.
What this engagement covers
A product launch starts with a question — what is the product, who is it for, what does success look like — and ends with a working product in front of real users. Between those two points, the work is discovery, scope, design, build, launch and the post-launch review that decides what happens next.
We do this as a fixed-scope engagement: a written scope, a written estimate, a delivery date, and the code, the accounts and the documentation handed over at the end. The engagement is 8–16 weeks for a typical product launch, longer for larger ones.
How the work is shaped
The first two weeks are discovery — interviews with the founders, the team and the target users, a review of the data, and a written brief that names the outcome, the scope, the constraints and the risks. The next two weeks are scope — a written feature list, a written architecture, and a written estimate.
The remaining weeks are build and launch — two-week sprints with a working slice every Friday, a launch plan with the marketing, the analytics and the support in place, and a post-launch review that decides what gets built next.
- A 30-minute discovery call before any commitment.
- A written scope and a written estimate within two weeks of the discovery.
- A two-week sprint cadence with a working slice every Friday.
- A post-launch review at the end of the engagement, with the next roadmap scoped.
What it costs and what you get
A typical product launch engagement lands between ₹8 lakh and ₹30 lakh, depending on the scope, the integrations and the depth of the design. The engagement is fixed scope, fixed price, with a change process for anything that moves.
You get the code, the cloud accounts, the documentation, the handover walkthrough and the post-launch review. The code is yours, the accounts are in your name, and the architecture is one your next engineer can extend. The product is yours to keep building.
Frequently asked
The questions the team asks
- How long does a product launch take?
- A focused product launch is 8–12 weeks from discovery to first user. A larger launch with custom integrations, multi-tenant or AI at the core is 12–16 weeks. The timeline is set after the discovery, not before, because the scope depends on the product.
- What if the product needs to change during the build?
- We have a written change process. Anything that replaces something already in scope is a straight swap. Anything additive gets a written estimate and a revised date before we start it. The change process is the single biggest reason launches slip, and we handle it explicitly.
- Do we need to hire engineers afterwards?
- Not immediately. Many clients stay on a small retainer while they find product-market fit, then hire in-house once the roadmap is clear. We hand over documentation and do a walkthrough with your first engineering hire at no cost, whenever that happens.
