Dedicated EngineeringTeams

A dedicated engineering team engagement for businesses that need ongoing engineering capacity — a small team, a written scope, a monthly cadence, with the team working as a pair of hands inside the client's engineering organisation and the codebase owned by the client.

What this engagement covers

A dedicated engineering team engagement starts with the capacity the business needs — the team, the skills, the cadence. Between the brief and the team in production, the work is the recruitment, the onboarding, the sprint cadence and the monthly review.

We do this as a monthly retainer, with a written scope, a written team composition, a monthly cadence and a monthly review. The team works as a pair of hands inside the client's engineering organisation, with the codebase owned by the client.

How the work is shaped

The first two weeks are the team composition — a written list of the engineers, the skills and the cadence. The next two weeks are the onboarding — the codebase, the documentation, the sprint cadence, the communication tools.

The remaining weeks are the monthly cadence — the sprint, the demo, the retrospective, the monthly review. The engagement is renewed quarterly, with the team composition updated as the work demands.

  • A 30-minute discovery call before any commitment.
  • A written team composition and a written scope within two weeks of the discovery.
  • A two-week sprint cadence with a demo every Friday.
  • A monthly review against the capacity, the velocity and the team feedback.

What it costs and what you get

A typical dedicated team engagement lands between ₹2.5 lakh and ₹5 lakh per engineer per month, with the team composition and the scope as the contract. The engagement is a monthly retainer, with a quarterly renewal.

You get the team, the sprint cadence, the monthly review, the documentation and the operational handover when the engagement ends. The codebase is yours, the documentation is yours, and the team is the capacity you can scale.

Frequently asked

The questions the team asks

How is the team composition decided?
Against the work — the skills, the seniority, the cadence. The composition is a written list, with the engineers named and the rationale for each. The composition is updated as the work demands, with the monthly review as the input.
Can the team work in our timezone and our tools?
Yes. The team works in the client's timezone, the client's tools (Slack, Jira, Linear, GitHub) and the client's communication cadence. The work is the same as an in-house team, with the same code review and the same on-call.
What happens when the engagement ends?
A complete handover — the codebase, the accounts, the documentation, the runbook. The team is yours to interview and hire in-house, or to continue with a new engagement. The transition is part of the engagement, not a separate contract.
