Solution

Built for Small &Medium Businesses

An SMB engagement for businesses that need technology to grow without a full-time engineering team — discovery, scope, build, launch, the maintenance retainer, with the codebase owned by the business and the operations team trained on the systems you run.

What this engagement covers

An SMB engagement starts with the operational problem the business is trying to solve. Between that problem and the system in production, the work is discovery, scope, build, launch, the training and the maintenance retainer.

We do this as a fixed-scope engagement, with a written scope, a written estimate, and a delivery date. The codebase is owned by the business, the operations team is trained on the systems, and the maintenance retainer is the safety net.

How the work is shaped

The first two weeks are the discovery — interviews with the leadership, the operations team and the customers, a written brief, a written scope and a written estimate. The next two weeks are the design and the architecture.

The remaining weeks are the build, the launch, the training and the maintenance handover. The engagement ends with a written runbook and a maintenance retainer the business can rely on.

  • A 30-minute discovery call before any commitment.
  • A written scope and a written estimate within two weeks of the discovery.
  • A two-week sprint cadence with a working slice every Friday.
  • A maintenance retainer with a named engineer and a 24-hour response SLA on critical incidents.

What it costs and what you get

A typical SMB engagement lands between ₹4 lakh and ₹15 lakh for a focused project, depending on the scope. The maintenance retainer is ₹40,000 to ₹1.5 lakh per month, with a written scope and a named engineer.

You get the codebase, the documentation, the training, the runbook and the maintenance retainer. The codebase is owned by the business, the runbook is the one the operations team can use, and the maintenance is the safety net the business can rely on.

Frequently asked

The questions the team asks

Do we need to hire a technical person?
Not for the engagement. The maintenance retainer covers the operational needs, and the technical decision-making is part of the engagement. If the business decides to hire a technical lead later, we hand over the documentation and the runbook and support the transition.
What if the scope changes during the build?
We have a written change process. Anything that replaces something already in scope is a straight swap. Anything additive gets a written estimate and a revised date before we start it. The change process is the single biggest reason SMB projects slip, and we handle it explicitly.
Can the operations team learn the system?
That is the goal. We hand over a CMS, an admin and a short walkthrough recording. The operations team runs the day-to-day, and the maintenance retainer covers the harder questions. The work compounds, because the operations team gets more capable each month.
