1. Project Overview
Indian merchants who want their own online store face a choice: an imported builder priced in dollars with weak support for Indian gateways and couriers, or a custom site they cannot edit. Neither handles COD, PIN code zones and Shiprocket out of the box.
storeVero gives each merchant a store on a storevero.com subdomain or their own domain, a library of themes they can edit visually, and the payment and shipping options Indian buyers expect.

2. The Challenge
- Hundreds of themes that must stay consistent and easy to fix.
- Merchants who need to change layouts without writing code.
- Indian payment gateways, COD and courier sync.
- Shipping rates that differ by state and by product type.
- Developers and partners who want to extend the platform.
3. What We Built
- Catalogue: products, variants, collections, categories, brands, bulk inventory edits and metafields with 10 field types.
- Orders, draft orders, customers, discounts and offers shown on the storefront.
- A visual theme editor with sections, blocks, colour schemes and version history of the last 15 saves.
- Shipping profiles and zones across all 36 states and union territories, with Shiprocket two-way sync.
- Payment connectors for Razorpay, Stripe, Cashfree, PayU, Easebuzz, CCAvenue, PhonePe and PayPal, plus COD.
- Shopper accounts, wishlists, moderated reviews, contact forms, blog, popups and SEO with Open Graph, JSON-LD and sitemaps.
- Team roles, multiple stores per user, 31 built-in apps, a GraphQL storefront and HMAC-signed webhooks for 11 events.
- Storefront event tracking, A/B tests and reports built from real order data.
- A dropshipping app that works with suppliers added by hand or connected over REST.
4. How It Works
storeVero runs on Laravel and PostgreSQL. Themes use the Liquid template language through a PHP Liquid engine, and the dashboard uses Blade, Alpine.js, Tailwind v4 and Vite 7. Media sits on Cloudflare R2.
All 451 library themes extend one shared core of 61 sections. A fix or a new section in the core reaches every theme at once, and 53 of those sections can be added from the editor. Partners can submit themes to a review queue.
Sign-up uses an SMS OTP through MSG91. Platform billing runs on Razorpay across Starter, Growth, Pro and Enterprise plans.
5. The Outcome
storeVero runs live at storevero.com, with merchant stores on their own subdomains such as demo.storevero.com. Platform billing went live in September 2026.
Moving every theme onto the shared core in September 2026 means a new section or a fix ships once and reaches all 451 themes. The product keeps growing through its app system, which now holds 31 working apps, including dropshipping and Shiprocket.
