1. Project Overview
A kirana shop, a medical store and a small manufacturer all need GST invoices, stock and books, but not the same screens. Most billing tools show every menu to everyone, and owners give up on half of them.
AccVora asks for the business type at sign-up and turns on the modules that trade needs. A pharmacy gets batch, expiry and the schedule H1 register. A restaurant gets KOT and tables. A jeweller gets jewellery billing. The invoice, stock and accounting engine stays the same underneath.

2. The Challenge
- Twenty-six kinds of business with different billing habits.
- GST returns that accountants want in the government portal format.
- Stock tracked by batch, serial number, expiry and godown.
- Shop counters with weak internet, and owners who prefer a desktop app.
- A price that a small shop will pay for the year.
3. What We Built
- Billing: GST sales and purchase invoices, POS, quotations, proforma, delivery challans, credit notes, returns and recurring invoices, with thermal print and invoice themes.
- Inventory: batch, serial and expiry, multiple godowns with stock transfer, size and colour variants, BOM manufacturing and Code128 barcode labels.
- Accounts: party ledgers, payments, expenses, bank and cheque books, cash book, profit and loss, trial balance and balance sheet, with Tally export.
- Trade modules for restaurants, salons, mobile repair shops, pharmacies, jewellers and clinics.
- An online store with custom domain, AI bill entry from text, voice or a photo of a receipt, and a leads module.
- Free public GST tools and document formats on the website.
4. How It Works
The API runs on Laravel 12 with Sanctum and MySQL 8, and the web app on Next.js 15. A Windows desktop app built on Electron opens the same account, and a Flutter app ships as an Android APK. On the web, billing keeps working through short outages: invoices queue in the browser and post when the connection returns.
GST handling covers the IGST versus CGST plus SGST split, HSN summaries, TCS, TDS and cess, a GSTIN decoder and the GST 2.0 rate slabs. GSTR-1 and GSTR-3B export in the JSON format the GST portal accepts. Invoices carry a UPI QR code for payment.
Plans start with a free tier of 10 invoices a month, then Silver at ₹599 and Gold at ₹1,499 a year.
5. The Outcome
AccVora has been live at accvora.com since 11 July 2026. The Windows desktop app reached version 1.1.3 by the end of September, and the Android APK at version 1.1.0 can be downloaded from the site.
Before each release, test scripts run against the live site. The final run on 30 September covered purchase and goods receipt, batch inventory, returns, party billing, books, payments and the medical store type, with hundreds of checks and no failures.
