Project Overview

The basis of this assignment was to design a refined and comforting label for massage lotion that would portray relaxation, nourishment, and top-notch quality. Making the label beautiful was not enough. It had to be able to tell in words and images the use of natural ingredients and the derived positive impacts.

Besides grabbing the attention at retail outlets through design, it was essential to generate feelings of trust, comfort, and luxury that are the deciding factors in the skincare and wellness business.

Color Scheme & Style:
The color palette has very muted pastel lilacs, creams and greens to produce a tranquil and fresh vibe.
The typography used is a mix of modern sharp fonts and hand written fonts for a warmer and more personal feel.

Imagery & Graphics: Simple miminalist line drawings of flowers and herbs that will stand for natural ingredients
Layout: Product name, benefits and ingredients are clearly stated with a well defined hierarchy
Brand feel: Premium, organic and spa-like visual identity that relates well with a health-conscious customer
Finish recommendation: Luxury feel using a matte base and the logo with a spot UV
